Service Description
Held every Wednesday lunchtime, starting JULY 15 this absolutely awesome Art Club is designed for a max of 12 creative (& maybe not so creative) souls who want to be a part of a gathering group of women, where we use our hands to make stuff! WHEN: This course is Wednesday lunchtimes for 9 weeks starting July, 12pm - 2.30pm There is also a Thursday morning 9.30-12pm available. (see main page) DURATION: 2.5 hours START DATE: Wed July 15 END DATE: Wed Sept 9 COST: $500 over 9 weeks. (Broken into 2 payments. Initial $250 deposit at time of booking, then balance to be paid before first day of class). In Term 3, Ladies Art Club returns for 9 weeks, each Wednesday afternoon. (Thursday mornings also available). We'll explore drawing and painting through a variety of mixed media such as watercolour, coloured pencil, oil pastel, paper craft and fine line ink drawing. However the main emphasis will be on watercolour techniques and styles. The 9 weeks will be broken up into short one week take home projects as well as some longer 2 and 3 week longer projects - where we slow down, be deliberate and create beautiful art pieces. The Curious Creative isn't designed for artists who know their stuff - it's for women who need a little break during the day, to explore creatively with their hands. All classes are set to music and you are always welcome to bring snacks and nibbles. Cold drinks provided.

Cancellation Policy
REFUNDS AND MAKE UPS There are no refunds if you miss a class during your art club or class duration. However, it is possible to do a makeup, if the class is offered again at a later date. CLASS NUMBERS For Art Club, minimum numbers are required for the session to go ahead. The Curious Creative can cancel the course prior to first start date if not enough participants. You will be notified asap if this is the case and receive full refund or option to swap into another class. In Term 4, we have already met minimum numbers. BAD WEATHER As we are located at the base of the hinterland, occasionally Gold Coast's ripper weather (looking at you Christmas Tornado and Cyclone Alfie) or heavy bouts of rain and storms may make the immediate and local area unsafe. If this is the case, a text will be sent to you ahead of time alerting you that class may be cancelled, re-scheduled or postponed, for everybody's safety.
