Service Description
Finally a class just for tweens & early teens in mind! Let your (approx) 10-16 year olds unleash their curiously creative side with a term packed full of experimental art. Tweens & Teens will love learning and expanding on watercolour skills as well as acrylics, adding hints of mixed media through coloured pencils and Posca paints and collaging and highlighting with paper weights and textures. Using a huge variety of craft materials, each week we will explore different themes, materials and mediums with short term and long term take home pieces. This absolutely awesome 10 week club is designed for 10 to 16 year olds who love tactile materials, creating with their hands and painting with their souls. All classes are set to music and kids are always welcome to bring snacks. Cold drinks provided. NOTE* This class runs weekly on Fridays from July 18 to Sept 5, with the exception of Thursday Aug 8 where there is no class. You are not being charged for that week.
Cancellation Policy
REFUNDS AND MAKE UPS There are no refunds if you miss a class during your art club or class duration. However, it is possible to do a makeup, if the class is offered again at a later date. CLASS NUMBERS Minimum 5 participants for course to go - ahead. The Curious Creative can cancel the course prior to first start date if not enough participants. You will be notified minimum 24 hours prior if this is the case and receive full refund or option to swap into another class. BAD WEATHER As we are located at the base of the hinterland, occasionally Gold Coast's ripper weather (looking at you Christmas Tornado and Cyclone Alfie) or heavy bouts of rain and storms may make the immediate and local area unsafe. If this is the case, a text will be sent to you ahead of time alerting you that class may be cancelled, re-scheduled or postponed, for everybody's safety.
