🏙️ CityScape: Paint and Paper Collage
Date: Wed 14 January, 10.30 - 12.30am
Suitable: Kids aged approx 5 to 9 years old
Materials: Coloured paper and cardstocks, Watercolour, acrylics, glue, texta and posca's.
Location: Curious Creative Studio, Tallai road, Tallai. (Near Mudgeeraba soccer field)
This class allows little hands to explore paper craft, paper collage, cutting and pasting, ripping and tearing and experimenting paint through acrylic and watercolour. The 2 hour plus workshop will take an urban walk through city scape inspired mixed media to create a layered bustling scene.
Using various paint mediums like acrylic and watercolour, paper collage and textured materials, artists will design buildings, light and shadow, prints and patterns, shops, streets, cobblestones, lamps and windows to make the image pop to life.
This workshop is sensory, engaging, and perfect for children who love hands-on making.
Skills explored:
• Watercolour backgrounds
• Collage & texture layering
• Composition basics• Conversation around the great cities, architecture and thriving metropolis of the world.
All sessions build creativity and a love of creating — this class is perfect for kids who love the outdoors, streets, buildings, adventure and being busy with their little hands.
Artwork to take home: One richly textured ocean artwork.
Dressup: Kids can come in fancy dress or costume if they choose to. There are no rules here other than have fun!
Background: Music to dance and sing along to.
Intro: Fun active games around the studio to get the group to know each other and get our creative vibes on.

DROP OFF: Please DO NOT arrive earlier than 5 minutes prior to start time as we need time to clean up and set up from other classes and to make this class setup look as awesome as possible.
PICK UP: During holidays when we have back to back classes, we need time in between classes for a break, as well as cleaning and setup.
Please pickup promptly at required time. If you are running late, just text 0410 662 465
CANCELLATION: Refunds not available however you can choose between full class credit valid for 12 months, or rebook into another school holiday class.
In the event of an unavoidable class cancellation, by The Curious Creative Studio, such as severe weather that would impact the surrounding area or studio, you will be fully refunded and notified asap.
