About

Originally from the south of France, designer and illustrator Laura Rancie has worked in various capacities at some of Australia's leading companies and in various dream role capacities from Marine Animal Trainer / Marine Education at Sea World on the Gold Coast to heading up the PR department at the Australian Good Food Guide, as well as creating Australia's first French festival and succesfully running that for 10 years prior to selling it with Mercedes Benz Toorak as the naming partner, to a well known cheese importer.
But at the heart of it all, Laura is a curious creative - with art and creativity literally running through her blood. Her mother was an artist and her father a Chef. The perfect combination of French artistry.
These days, you can find Laura in her private studio on Gold Coasts hinterland - drawing and painting whimsical houses, cafe's and airbnb's for clients (Illustrated by Laura) as well as running the Curious Creative studio workshops and classes.
Laura is available for custom work / illustrations and live drawing at your event.
